How long does lip blush last?
Lip blush can last around 2-3 years, depending on how carefully you follow the aftercare protocols. The longevity of lip blushing also depends on your lifestyle, as alcohol, smoking and spending a lot of time in the sun can make lip blush fade faster.
How long does the process take?
A lip tattoo session lasts approximately 3 hours.
How long does a lip tattoo take to heal?
It can take about 1-2 weeks for a new lip tattoo to heal, depending on how carefully you follow the aftercare instructions. During the healing process, the colour of the tattoo will vary and change before the final colour is revealed.

Before your appointment...
- Bring pictures and/or lipsticks to show your cosmetic tattoo artist the colour you want so they can best match your final lip colour result.
- Take a preventive tablet on the day of your appointment if you are prone to coldsores.
- DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine, fish oil, Vitamin E, aspirin or ibuprofen before your appointment as they could cause the blood to thin and will result in more bleeding during the procedure.
After your appointment...
- Use a lot of lip balm to keep your lips moisturised.
- Follow the aftercare instructions provided to you.
- Book in a follow up appointment with your cosmetic tattoo artist.
- DO NOT pick your scabs
- DO NOT eat spicy food within 48 hours after the procedure.
- AVOID sun exposure and workouts for 2 weeks following your appointment.
